Model 114

Diaphragm Type

Tank Level Gauge

±3-2-3% Accuracy (Descending) — ASME B40.100, Grade B

The Mid-West Instrument Model 114 is a high-sensitivity differential pressure gauge designed specifically for tank level measurement. Using a flexible elastomer diaphragm, it accurately converts liquid head pressure into a clear, easy-to-read analog dial reading.

Engineered for both mobile and stationary tanks, the Model 114 works with air, gas, and compatible liquids—including cryogenic applications. Available in multiple dial sizes and scales, it’s ideal for monitoring helium, argon, nitrogen, oxygen, CO₂, and more.

Electrical Options – Model 114:

Switch & Transmitter Configurations
Model 114 diaphragm-type tank level gauges can be equipped with up to two hermetically sealed reed switches for high and/or low level alarms. Switches are mechanically adjustable, allowing users to fine-tune the set point across a defined portion of the scale. Upon request, Mid-West Instrument can factory-set switch points to your specifications.

  • Switch Output Options:
    • SPDT: 3W, 0.25A, 125 VAC/VDC
    • SPST (Normally Open): 25W, 0.5A, 230 VAC/VDC
  • No external power required to operate switches
  • CE marked to EU Low Voltage and RoHS Directives
  • NEMA 4X / IP66 weather-resistant enclosures
  • Field-wired terminal strip included

Transmitter Option
The Model 114 also offers a 2-wire, loop-powered 4–20 mA differential pressure transmitter. This microprocessor-based system uses a magnetic angle sensor to precisely track pointer movement and convert it into an analog signal.

  • Loop Power: 8–28 VDC
  • Accuracy: ±2% (20%–100% of scale, descending)
  • Aluminum enclosure with ½″ FNPT conduit connection
  • Individually calibrated using an 11-point linearization technique
  • Optional CE marking to EMC Directive available upon request

Additional Options:

  • ¾” FNPT Stub Mount
  • Pipe Mounting Kit - 2" U-Bolt
  • Wall Mounting Kit
  • Multiple 3-Valve Manifold options
  • Oxygen Cleaning
  • Maximum Follower Pointer
