Mid-West Instrument has been designing and manufacturing differential pressure switches for use in Hazardous Locations for over 30 years. Our products may carry one or more certifications from CSA, UL, ATEX, or KOSHA. Products CE marked for compliance to the ATEX directive are also compliant to the RoHS Directive. Hazardous Locations certifications apply to the entire assembly / design and not just the use of a “Certified Enclosure”. Certifications are product specific so please verify your certification requirements with one of our knowledgeable Mid-West Sales Coordinators. In order to mark our product with the CSA & UL marks, Mid-West Instrument is subject to unannounced visits by personnel from each certification lab 3-4 times per year. In addition, for the ATEX and KOSHA certification we are subject to a comprehensive audit from a Notified Body representative once every year. See individual models for complete specifications.
Mid-West Instrument has the capability to design and engineer a Differential Pressure Gauge, Switch or Transmitter to the exact requirements of the customer. Dial size, Process connection Size and location, etc. can also be customized to the customer’s requirements. Mid-West has one of the fastest production times in the Industry. Our standard production time on most gauges is 7-10 business days or less.
Mid-West Instrument has the equipment and printing technology to provide color dials, flow scales and customer logo dials.
